Thank you so much to everyone who came to our Light Up Clackmannan Event on Sunday.
The weather was a chilly 2 degrees but it was dry and clear for the switch on. It was lovely to see so many happy faces celebrating in the main street.
Our stallholders were kept busy the whole time, selling many great products and services:
Clackmannan Community Council, who proudly welcomed Santa to the event, where the kids had a visit and chat with Santa and received a small gift from Mrs Claus.
Clackmannan Community Council also had a Christmas craft stall with handmade goodies such as Christmas glasses, crackers, tree decorations, bows which were a great success with everyone
Clackmannan Primary parent council offered a great prize of a Family Pass to Beecraigs Festive Forest. All proceeds from the night will go towards the Parent Council and all that they do to support the school.
Kerri Lee Murray from KM Jewellery offered some beautiful gifts while Millburn Melts offered wax melt hampers, wax melts, diffusers, car fresh and room sprays.
Jenni from Thistle Do Icely had one stall with lots of sweet treats including vanilla cupcakes, red velvet cupcakes, tablet, mallow pops and chocolate brownies. and another selling crafts including wall art frames, teacher gifts, light up bottles, decorative boards, wine bags and baubles. Also a small selection of wooden gifts made by Jenni’s talented dad at Stickbirler.
And finally, Party Face Painting created some fantastic fun & festive faces for the children, who did so well waiting in the long queue in the chilly evening weather.
Scott from Active Travel was out with the Cycling Without Age Scotland SCIO Clacks team last night offering Trishaw rides around the town, supporting the Clackmannan Development Trust and their light switch on.
Big thanks to DJ Dale Alexander, Stirling Rock Choir and Clackmannan Primary School Glee Choir for the entertainment. And finally a huge huge thanks to all the volunteers in our Events Committee who worked so hard to bring the whole night together.
