Mission Statement

To be a community that is well connected and well equipped to support people at all stages of life. We will be a community that provides and is invested in the spaces and services we need for everyone to feel cared for and supported.

  1. To provide a platform for communication and sharing good practice and joint operational and strategic approaches between local community partners and official government agencies
  2. To provide services/activities that will bring the people in the community together and promote integration and independence.
  3. To promote the importance and value of intergenerational working within the community.
  4. Create an opportunity to raise/tackle common issues that affect local residents health and wellbeing to make Clackmannan a better place to live, work and visit.

Ongoing Projects & Events

Through Caring & Connected Clackmannan, we have been able to provide a number of services for the community, with the focus most recently being on supporting people through lockdown.

Some of our activities include:

Fruit & Veg Parcels/ Grocery Deliveries

Throughout the Coronavirus pandemic we have delivered shopping to those in our community who were shielding.

We also secured funding to offer fruit & veg parcels for those in need during lockdown. We hope to secure more funding so we can offer this service again in the future.

Sweeten Your Community with a Story

We are delighted to share with you that Clackmannan Primary School were a finalist at the Clackmannanshire Education Awards on 5th September for the partnership work for ‘Sweeten your Community with a Story’ to promote reading and language development in our young learners while sharing these experiences with our older friends in the community.
