National Volunteers week is here from 1-7th June. We have so much to celebrate this year. thanks to all the hard work our volunteers have done to support our community over the past 12 months with; Brucie’s Buddies Befriending calls, making/delivering soup and scones and having a doorstep natter with elderly residents living alone, delivering fruit and veg parcels to low income households, shopping and prescriptions runs for those isolating/shielding and of course creating our wonderful community art projects such as our woolly sheep and our caring and connected caterpillar.
We want to let our volunteers know just how valued they are a put a spotlight on volunteering this week to recognise it
To do this we will have…
- ‘Thank you’ banners up in the community
- Video clips from our volunteers – what volunteering means to them
- How to become a volunteer
- Volunteers Feedback Survey
- Tea @ Three in Butterfly Garden
- CTSI Volunteers Awards Certificates
