Doors Open Days is Scotland’s largest free festival that celebrates heritage and the built environment.  It offers free access to over a thousand venues across the country throughout September, every year.

To coincide with this event, Clackmannan Development Trust works alongside local partners; Clackmannanshire Heritage Trust as well as Historic Environment Scotland to provide a programme of activities to celebrate our town’s heritage.

Past activities have included; guided tours around Clackmannan Tower, Heritage Walks lead by local walk leaders, an archaeological survey at King’s Seat Hill (By Clackmannan Tower) as well as clay modelling,  badge making and more.
